We were the first Council on Podiatric Medical Education approved 3 year residency in the State of Colorado. The program is intended to expose residents to a variety of learning experiences and provide a comprehensive podiatric post-graduate education that prepares young podiatrists for practice in many settings. Graduates of this residency have secured positions in private/group podiatric practices, medical/orthopedic group practices, HMO’s/Kaiser medical facilities, University Health Sciences Centers, Indian Health Service, U.S. Military hospitals and VA facilities. The facility has sponsored a podiatric residency program continuously since 1982. Attendings are present and available in clinic to direct, guide and supervise clinical care.
